Smallville: Stiletto

By TrinityVixen – Among the many facets of reality blunted by this show are the rules of journalism. Being a college drop-out with no publication history didn’t stop Clark Kent from scoring an internship with The Daily Planet. But there’s nepotism and there’s fraud, very different things, and while the first is certainly reprehensible, the latter is actionably illegal (or, if not, so potentially embarrassing and devastating that, if ever discovered, the paper that prints outright lies/stunts generated to drum up business could be dismissed entirely a legitimate source of news). Not surprisingly, such consequences are nowhere discussed as Lois Lane goes on a crusade to bring herself closer to the Red-Blue Blur by pretending to be a super hero and then writing her own copy about it.
