I’m sure Show meant to demonstrate the contrast between good and evil, however, I’m thinking it might set the anti-misogynists off to think that Evil is represented yet AGAIN by a woman named Eve, and Good is represented by a trucker named Rick.

by Syliva Bond – …While it’s easy for me to say that Show has a tendency to do some throwaway episodes based on the notion that “surely we’re near the end so it doesn’t matter, we can go ahead and film some crap and call it good,” it all comes down to how you want to be remembered.

I shouldn’t be thinking like this, and it exhausts me to think like this. I blame Show for taking me down so many blind alleys and switching it up and bringing dead people back to life all the time, and just messing with my mind, man.

by Syliva Bond – “Sam’s phone rings and as he gets up to answer it, I’m distracted mightily by Sam’s pert little bottom, which is conveniently filmed at eye level.”

It’s been a while since we last saw Sam and Dean Winchester walking the earth; it’s a wonder Show isn’t more worried about loosing viewers during such a long hiatus. Not only that, but the hiatus was, at the very last moment, increased by a week, causing a hue and cry from fans being denied their weekly helping of Winchester Boys. Then other fans reminded them that people were starving in, so, in comparison, being asked to wait another week for Sam and Dean wasn’t really that hard. Then the first group of fans threw metaphorical shoes at the second group, the second group got butthurt, and on it went. Show probably enjoyed the publicity; even bad press is still press.

By Sylvia Bond – At some point or other, and probably more than once, I’ve complained about the sixth-grade mentality of writers of Show, with their obsession on boob jokes and low humor. And while I still think there’s three of them in a back room somewhere, giggling over a stolen copy of their Dad’s Playboy (juxtaposed up against the copy of the bible one of them got for confirmation), sometimes even three sixth graders can find some really cool stuff.

One of those kinds that feels like the writers stood over the barrel and instead of scraping the bottom, they tip-tilted the bucket and dumped everything into the barrel. Now the barrel is overflowing, but the storyline goes everywhere, just everywhere, and who’s going to clean up this mess, I ask you?

By Sylvia Bond – This week, Crowley shows up to demonstrate his power over the boys, and to enjoin them to do his bidding, if they ever want to see Sam’s soul again. This is a pretty clever storyline for Show to be following, because it means that not only will the boys be hotfooting from town to town trying to chase the most elusive Magical McGuffin ever conceived, but also the fact that the McGuffin itself has been roughly defined as “bring me creatures” will be more than enough to keep the chase flexible. The boys will keep moving and provide enough action to keep viewers satisfied. And, along the way, the boys will keep working together, which will keep me satisfied.
