Buffy for Beginners 2.21: Becoming Part 1

Let’s circle back to Thanksgiving 2002; a certain young woman was holed up in her house, grading papers, and flipping channels to try to distract her from her students’ horrendous essays. She stumbles upon FX, and low and behold, a Buffy marathon is on. She has never really seen Buffy before, though in the past she happened on a few episodes here and there. The episode she happened to stumble upon was the beginning of arguably the best story arc of the entire series: Becoming Part 1. After watching what happened in both part 1 and 2, the woman decided then and there she would invest in the first two seasons, and wait with bated breath for the rest.
