I grew up in the South Bronx so the name Young Lords has a lot of political connotations in my head. I didn’t quite know what to expect from this episode. I happily discovered it was the Starbuck episode of my dreams. Starbuck stranded on a planet, Apollo far, far away. . . ahh, the stuff fantasies are made of. It even had shirtless Starbuck and unicorns! What more could my inner tween ask for? read more »

It took me a while to realize why this episode was so wistfully artful: it’s a funeral farewell. I’m not sure why the creators are so upset, seeing as the only person who seems to be on her way out is Lana. And it’s not like that hasn’t happened before. Or, maybe, it’s my lucky day and the eighth and final season won’t include her! read more »
