By Jeff Nieves – This week’s Eureka was a solid episode. The bulk of the plot (the A-story) revolved around a mysterious device being assembled out of random stolen artifacts. As it turns out, this bizarre contraption was being constructed by the sleep walking children of Eureka. Apparently, all you need to build a particle gamma ray-thingy is a plunger, a chair, a washing machine, and an army of sleep walking zombie-children.

By Jeff Nieves – This week on Eureka, the boys (and gals) of Area 51 showed up from their annual bowling match with the Eureka crew. Apparently there’s a bitter feud between the two top secret facilities that’s punctuated by with many pranks and bowling balls that magically split in two.

By Jeff Nieves – Eureka’s mid-season cliff-hanger left off with Jack Carter being redacted (Eureka-speak for “getting fired”). In “Welcome Back Carter”, the DOD decides that, rather than promoting Jo Lupo or getting a new sheriff, it’s time Eureka has a Robotic Sheriff, Andy.
