For the past few months, I’ve been fiddling around with drawing a comic strip called Significant Otters, a gag strip featuring an otter couple. I’m not going to pretend I’m an artist, so I’m learning how to use software to make these things look presentable.
But, that takes time and I’m impatient. I’ve got half a sketchbook full of these things and want to share now, so screw it.
I’m just gonna scan the strips right out of my sketchbook and post them, crude drawing skills and all.
This isn’t first strip I’ve done, but it is the most recent, having been scratched out shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day (as one can tell from the wobbly lines and slanty lettering). BTW, this is probably not safe for work. Unless your workplace is dick-joke friendly.

Lisa Fary's earliest influences are Princess Leia, Rainbow Bright, Astronaut Barbie, and her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Palmer. She's angry that it's 2011 and she still doesn't have a hovercraft, but will accept a jetpack as consolation. That jetpack had better be pink with a rhinestone monogram. 
Considering my snort of laughter at this lil’ strip, I VERY much look forward to more of this.
