When I was a kid, I was absolutely certain that the house we rented was haunted.
It was all the usual stuff:
- shadows that made no sense
- disappearing toys
- cold spots on the floor
- maniacal laughter while my bed levitated
OK, that last one was probably just a dream. But, it still scared the crap out of me. It would’ve been nice to be able to talk to them, like the hero of ParaNorman.
This week, we have a ParaNorman prize pack to give away!
One (1) winner will receive:
- Adult T-Shirt
- Backpack
- Keychain
- Notebook
- Nightlight
- Slippers
- Toothbrush
TO ENTER TO WIN
Answer the following question in the comments below:
What would be the worst part about being a ghost? Other than, you know, being dead?
We’ll draw a winner at random on Monday!

Being a foodie fanatic (aside from a horror movie enthusiast) I would have to say not being able to eat. How could I never have another crinkle fry from Del Taco. Not a single cheesy bite of pizza. No more frozen yogurt with fruity pebbles @ 11pm. Not even a sip of my favorite hot chocolate close in the middle of winter. If I was a ghost I would most certainly be haunting a bow of spaghetti in tears quite often.
Not being able to eat. I’d also hate being “stuck”.
Not having physical contact, hands down. How lonely and sad.
I think the worst part would be having to see your friends/family but not actually being able to be with them
I think not being able to speak except through a seance…I’m quite a chatty-Cathy and having to shut my piehole all the time would drive me into poltergeist-mode for sure.
i think not being able to enjoy laying down on a comfy bed under the covers
I think the worst party about being a ghost for me would be not being able to play with and pet my dogs. I guess if I was a ghost I would need ghost dogs like Jack had in Nightmare Before Christmas. I really love this type of movie; thank you so much for having such an awesome giveaway.
I think the worst thing about being a ghost would be your irrelevance to the living world. Sure, you could haunt people, but that’d only make people want to stay away from you. Sure, you could interact w/your loved ones, but you’d never be able to touch them again, and they’d eventually lose interest in hanging out with someone who can’t really BE with them. The worst thing, to me, about being a ghost is the fact that eventually the living can and will go on without you, and you won’t ever be able to shape or take part in the world ever again.
I think the worst part about being a ghost, is that I would not be able to have relations with my wife (AKA sex) …you know that’s got to suck!
Thanks for the chance..my 8 year old would love these prizes.
Thank you for playing, everyone! We drew the winner today and it is……Dawn!
