The Grotto of Manliness has been sadly neglected. The water has gone brackish, the plants are all dying or dead, and I’m pretty sure that smell is something dead that I haven’t found yet.
While the Grotto has fallen to seed, the Workshop has been bustling with comic book coloring activity, and I thought now would be as good a time as any to give a glimpse into the last two months worth of output. So here are the first two issues (forty pages) of Eric Shanower’s Age of Bronze, in color for the first time.
That’s forty pages down, roughly 600 to go.
Of course, I can’t post the entire, actual comic for free here. But if you’re interested in checking out the comic, and if you have an iPad, you can download the app over at iTunes. First issue came out last month for ninety-nine cents, second issue comes out some time this month for ninety-nine cents, and includes fully annotated reader’s guide, discussion boards, and Eric Shanower’s amazing artwork and story laid on top of my color work.
