King Arthur for Grown Ups

Camelot-Morgan

Even though Starz impressed the hell out of me with Spartacus, I went into Camelot expecting to be disappointed because, well. . . you know. I’m thrilled to be wrong. Camelot on Starz rocks.

Books: Trouble and Her Friends

Trouble and Her Friends

Trouble and Her Friends is a very good read. What’s most satisfying about it is that it’s not just about the technology; that part is almost incidental. Russian Fashion Week: For The Apocalypse Diva in Us All

dimtry-longinov2

Usually when looking at Western fashion shows, I have a hell of a time finding looks that correspond to the apocalypsescifipunk aesthetic I plan on adopting when civilization crumbles (so long, chino pants!!!!). That Dana Scully Feeling

Dana_Scully

I’m growing weary of this Strong Female Character (TM) archetype. I want to see women on screen who are strong in all the ways there are, not just in physicality. Because you can be strong without knowing how to deliver a solid roundhouse kick.
