By Rosalind – If there’s one thing Human Target is not going to be lacking this season, it is definitely action. This episode had more than enough running, shooting, and exploding for a good deal of fun along with the intricate and complex storylines that make the show worth coming back to. Now, if they could just figure out how to effectively use their new women, it would be nearly perfect.

By Sylvia Bond – This week, Crowley shows up to demonstrate his power over the boys, and to enjoin them to do his bidding, if they ever want to see Sam’s soul again. This is a pretty clever storyline for Show to be following, because it means that not only will the boys be hotfooting from town to town trying to chase the most elusive Magical McGuffin ever conceived, but also the fact that the McGuffin itself has been roughly defined as “bring me creatures” will be more than enough to keep the chase flexible. The boys will keep moving and provide enough action to keep viewers satisfied. And, along the way, the boys will keep working together, which will keep me satisfied.

Ok, so I finally got all of the family members out of my house. Let’s do this! I had a big long winded review of Animus, which has become one of my favorites because it is chocked full of Henry, but DR basically says the same thing – minus DR liking naked Henry much more [...]

By Raygun Robyn – In the first part of this Twofer, Chuck done got Chucknapped by freakin’ Allan Quatermain who is determined to pull the Intersect from Chuck’s brain. Chuck’s inability to flash made him completely ineffectual as a spy and he couldn’t defend himself or try to escape. He’s just a normal guy again!

By DR Hanson – They’ve dropped the lame opening banter between two characters and have replaced them with two Brits. Brits make everything better. Trust me, I work with one and she’s a doll. So try to get a British doctor or cop because it’ll make that cancer diagnoses or speeding ticket that much easier to swallow.

By Mike Brendan – The legend of King Arthur has played itself out on the page many times over. From T.H. White’s The Once and Future King, to Marion Zimmer Bradley’s The Mists of Avalon, Camelot has been visited time and time again by various writers. Maurice Broaddus (Orgy of Souls, Devil’s Marionette) is the latest to take up this literary Excalibur, but a more urbane twist to it. Set in the streets of Indianapolis, King James White gathers his knights to take back the streets from those who prey on the innocent. Okay, maybe not in those words.

By Mike Brendan – This week’s episode is a tie-in/sequel to the Season One episode “Faith,” where the Destiny finds an uncharted system and an Eden-like planet that is found to be artificial. Some of the civilian crew stay behind, thinking that this is their best way of getting back to Earth.

After seeing Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 you’ve surely realized you need a Hogwarts costume by now, right? The midnight showing I attended was split 50/50 between costumed witches and wizards and muggles. I saw everything from entire costumes with robes to just house scarves paired with everyday clothing. If you put [...]

By Sonia Aurora – I’d heard whisperings of a Buffy reboot, in film form, which we all know was already done in film form. Badly. Seriously, Hollywood, are you so idea-starved that you can’t scavenge through Twitter or Facebook for other plotlines? Why, why, why are you trying to kill something not only I but so many others love so deeply, while also spitting in the face of its creator and mastery?

BY Sylvia Bond – When I wrote my Supernatural Season 4 Cutting Room Floor Wish List piece, I included bit of what I liked about Season 4 and what I wanted to see more of. In the section about It’s The Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester, I talked about Dean’s mention of leprechauns, and how I would like to see an episode based on that. I do not have an ego large enough to presume that this episode was in response to that particular request (or maybe I do, who knows), because I’m thinking that Show’s writers are running to the classics on account of viewers are tired of all that angel and demon crap. I know I am. So the leprechauns was a nice change.

By Shawn Deena – This film is clearly the Ron, Harry, Hermione show, as much as it is the director and writers who opted to make a quick go of a two-part film. Two and a half hours gives you a lot to work with and what’s disappointing is not what they used out of the literature but what they opted to leave out and in some cases, change entirely.

I don’t even have to make up copy for this. The Ghost Hunters/ Real Housewives of Atlanta crossover just sort of speaks for itself. Enjoy this clip from the crossover episode that only sounds like fanfic.

By Rhea Dee – Wait a minute…a Candyman that isn’t Tony Todd? That’s kind of blasphemy, right there. Anyway. This episode made me realize that I really, really, missed Olivia. Which sounds kind of weird, because she’s been in every episode.
