Two of my top shows–Fringe and Community–ended on huge cliffhangers so I'm DYING for them to come back. I'm also really looking forward to Parks and Rec, although I have this very real fear that the show will be canceled. Smart show with TWO women leads? I'm amazed it made it this far.
I've heard such good things about The Vampire Diaries, but I dunno. I don't know if I'm ready for ANOTHER vampire show.
As far as books, Going Bovine is an excellent book about life, dying, multiverses, garden gnomes, and what makes reality reality.
Probably not – the whole spurned-spy-getting-revenge thing isn't all that appealing to me.
I'll watch SG:U with ever optimistic hope that the geek will get the girl. But that's about it. Not only is there nothing that's really drawing me into TV, but with a toddler, the TV rarely makes it off of Nick Jr. Though I will DVR Chasing Mummies and Wonders of the Solar System. Those are some good, and educational, shows.
As for Vampire Diaries. I'm so over teen angsty vampires. or is it just teen angst that I'm over. You're right, teaching high school definitely cuts down one's appetite for that sort of thing.
I'm such a TV junkie. My current line-up is full to bursting. I've got the last few summer episodes of Mad Men, Rubicon, True Blood, My Boys, Warehouse 13 (I love Claudia!), White Collar (Bomer's sooo pretty.), Covert Affairs, Eureka, Haven, Flashpoint, and Top Chef.
