In this issue, mice at the June Alley Inn tell tales for a storytelling contest. Legends of the Guard is an anthology series featuring writers and artists selected by creator David Peterson. This issue features stories by Guy Davis (B.P.R.D.), Katie Cook (Fraggle Rock), Nate Pride (Library of Wonder: Jules Verne) and Jason Shawn Alexander (Queen & Country).
Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard #3, published by Archaia, is on sale September 1st.

Lisa Fary's earliest influences are Princess Leia, Rainbow Bright, Astronaut Barbie, and her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Palmer. She's angry that it's 2011 and she still doesn't have a hovercraft, but will accept a jetpack as consolation. That jetpack had better be pink with a rhinestone monogram.
