Continuing our interview with Greg Benson, ace director and prolific web creator. His MediocreFilms account recently topped 100 million views on YouTube and he has written, directed and starred in some of the funniest videos of the last few years.
In Part 1 Greg described his journey from Dallas to Hollywood, his first big breaks in web video and how he met his wife, Kim Evey.
In Part 2 we discussed Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show, The Guild and the many people Greg works with including Kim Evey, Felicia Day, Payman Benz, Sean Becker and Wil Wheaton. Greg also talks about some of his new projects and the genesis of one of his newest characters (one of my absolute favourites), Yeshmin Blechin.
In Part 3, Greg answers some questions from fans, tells us what type of films he loves and talks openly about his love for his neighbours. He also spills the beans about his infamous prank videos and shows us his cute puppy!
BONUS: Special short video where Greg gives some valuable advice to aspiring producers. Greg didn’t go to film school but he still studied hard, and he outlines ways to improve your craft.
Thank you for such a fun and insightful interview, Greg!
