Lisa Fary's earliest influences are Princess Leia, Rainbow Bright, Astronaut Barbie, and her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Palmer. She's angry that it's 2011 and she still doesn't have a hovercraft, but will accept a jetpack as consolation. That jetpack had better be pink with a rhinestone monogram.

Considering I jumped on theSupernatural bandwagon a bit late in the series, I'm pretty freaking thrilled

If they've signed on for another season, then they can't kill off one of the boys permanently, which is something I've been worried about for at least a year. Because very few people would continue watching it if one of them was gone. And maybe Kripke can get the angel storyline out of his system with season 5 and season 6 could go back to being SamandDean hunting evil things and being brothers and having fun. With everything pretty much back to black and white. Healthy angst is awesome. The past 2 seasons have had unhealthy angst and I'm very weary of it. Lets get rid of the angel storyline. It bogs down the show too much. Get back to the basics.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I adore the show but everything has gotten dramatic. It's going to end up like Buffy and become long and drawn out, and I can't stand that. So, I hope they make it lighter if they're going to keep it up. But I also hope they keep it tight and they don't get messy with the story.

Actually, I remember seeing an interview with Kripke and he was kinda concerned about how the show might not end on it's fifth season, which was all he had planned out. I think the original was that Sam and Dean wound up killing one another, because that would pretty much be the only thing that could work out – and no, I didn't get that from the last season, I got it back in season 1. Before even plural demons came about. I've been watching the whole series over again with a friend who is now hooked, and the show gets progressively darker as it goes along – but it's also all be alluded to for the entire series. Dean having to protect Sam, Dean either having to kill Sam or save him…most CW shows don't have that kind of forethought. What's even better is that they have killed off all the annoying characters, like Ruby, Bella, Jo, Ellen (who actually weren't that bad after a while), and especially Anna. Castiel I think is an awesome character, I would like them to keep him since it's interesting to watch Dean "corrupt" him.

terrible idea! i've been following the show from the start and one of the things i've held onto so dearly is that Eric Kripke had enough respect for himself and the audience to not ruin the story by drawing it out and extending it too much. Heroes should have ended ages ago yet, the writers and the network desperately cling to it hoping for a comeback. I'm afraid that the longer you run this show the less of a chance it will have of keeping it's audience and finish strong….

This is part of the reason the world is the way it is. We still need heroes and we still want to watch them. This is a show about supernatural beings so it would be a bit hard to make the show without heros dont you think. This show has made it numbers go up considerably in the last season which is a awesome feat. I have watched this show from beginning to now and will continue because i love the whole idea of the supernatural world and now not just two great actors as well as Bobby but for last 2 seasons there is three now with Castiel.

Good shows always go on too long. Instead of ending as a good memory, everyone is thinking, 'just go ahead and die, already".

I have been a faithful Supernatural follower since Day 1. I own the box set of every season and have watched every episode at LEAST three times, and I'm still deeply in love with the series. I am unbelievably thrilled to hear that there will be a 6th season. I don't know where they'll go, or if there's any place TO go, in the story, but as long as I get to watch my boys for another season, I don't really care! Although I do agree with a previous poster about "getting back to the basics" and not having too much of the angel/heaven and hell storyline, but having the boys go back to hunting basic evil things like the first couple seasons… although I do love Castiel too much to want to let him go! Anyhow… point is, I'm thrilled, and I don't care where they go with the story, so long as there's another season!!

I have no problem watching Jensen Ackles for another season although I am a little worried about the story line. I feel like they are going to draw it out too long.
