Ten Lords a-Leaping
The Lords of Kobol: according to the battlestarrevealed blog there are 12 Lords of Kobol, although Wikipedia has 11 listed plus another 2. So we’ll take the average and call it 10 (you know, if you are going to complain about how tenuous the links to Caprica are AND the math then this series is going to be less fun than either of us ever imagined).
Religion, like ethnicity, is a key driver for many of the people of Caprica. There is tension between those who worship the traditional Lords of Kobol and those who believe in the “one God”, which leads to dramatic and tragic consequences. We will also see more of what religious observances people practice. And, just so you are warned, be prepared to reexamine everything you thought you knew about nuns (I’m looking at you, Sister Clarice!).
On Release Day, Jan 22th, you can read my report from the Caprica set as you wait anxiously for the 9 PM Eastern Time.
Don’t forget the PinkRaygun/Caprica give away Haiku Challenge.

WorldofHiglet is the online persona of writer Mary R. Higgins, a born-again geek reclaiming her heritage bit by bit. A youth filled with sci-fi, horror and adventure fare (TV, films, computer games and books) was crushed by years of office grind. Buffy brought her back into the fold after years of denial. Discovering Firefly sealed the deal. Now she geeks fulltime on her blog ‘the last geek bus home’ and her first novel ‘Turning left at Albuquerque” is currently looking for a home in publishing-land.

My only problem with Clarice thus far is her name. Clarice Willow just sounds like the child of hippies who should have a last name like Baumgartner or something. Her story looks like it's going to be an interesting one, though.
The name Sister Clarice paired with the English accent, conservative clothes and hidden agenda (and passions?) all point to a very interesting ride for this character.
I had no idea it was only 10 days left!!
Thanks for the reminder!
