JANET: What was the call?
CAP: Fraudulent Lotto sales at the KwikeePost.
TULLA: Scumbag was taking credits and printing out fake tickets. Making a killing, too.
JANET: So, where’s the perp?
TULLA: We fined him 50 credits for unlicensed Lotto sales.
JANET: He cold have defrauded thousands from the citizens! That’s a felony!
CAP: We don’t know how much money is involved, Sgt. Moore.
JANET: Then we need to investigate, Captain. Did you confiscate his Lotto machine?
Janet gets in Cap’s face, nose to nose.
CAP: Of course not. I gave the owner an application for the proper permit.
JANET: So, you neither stopped nor punished the crime. Captain, either you’re incompetent or you’re on the take.
