I've watched the finale a few times, too – so many threads brought together and new possibilities for the future, too. Season 4 could go in any direction!

I know what you mean about being proud of Felicia and co. The Guild is groundbreaking in many ways, and throughout they have kept touch with and interacted willingly (and sometimes hilariously!) with their fans and well-wishers. Long may it continue.

I watched it twice in a row last week, and will probably watch again before the day is through. So much excitement packed into one short little episode! Can't wait so see the repercussions in season four.

I am so proud of Felicia and co. They're doing something really remarkable.

Holy Moly, Alan! That's a rip-roaring review – just how many metaphors can one person mix?!

The "What a twist!" ending was indeed Shyamalanesque – but a darned sight more believable than the old 'water melts them' bullcrap. And +5 for the "Fawke me", too…:D

Woot. A masterful review of a masterful season finale! Your editing was almost as tight as Sean's!

This episode had me tweeting with delight from the first two squirrely twitches. The cracker-munch was the icing on the cake, and that was just the appetizer.

It snowballed from there, with drama and confrontation more over-the-map than the metaphors I'm now mixing. Rapidfire conflict and resolution from one character to the next, like a comedy machine-gun, until the smoke cleared and all was settled, with Codex triumphant, It was a moment as satisfying as finding that one perfect car analogy.

Then suddenly at the end, Wham Bam Shyamalan, the trademark Guild twist, with Codex's triumph turned to fail at the final bell, and this time it's EPIC. Fawke me!

Loved it!

Special kudos (I assume) to Mr B, and the wavy wobbly dissolve to Syd's avatar epiphany. I thought it was really nicely done.
