I got a little offended at the end there with Bruiser v. Bladezz. That's quite a statement for an adult to make to a teen. It's all fun and games till you bring the Mamas in! Despite the gravity the end of the episode carries, my favorite part was Vork. I'm totally biased because he's my favorite! His English to Spanish dictionary converstation was HYsterical! His accent was awful, which made the whole scene perfect. Plus he has the best leaf-blown hair around.

Season 3 *is* different to Season 3 in terms of emotional response (mine, anyway). I've always found that it made me laugh, amused and surprised me before, but I've never been as conflicted as I have this season.

The end of Season 2 was amazing and shocking in some ways, but although I felt sorry for Codex I didn't think she had come to harm. This season has put the Guildies in actual danger. Riley has injured Zaboo and there was no mistaking the threat posed by Bruiser. We have to hope that everything is going to be okay, but all bets are off.

That episode was full of "Wow", and I'm not talking about The Game. When did my wacky little internet gamer comedy series get all dramatic? I blame Wheaton. ;)

Seriously though, this season is shaping up to be an amazing ride. I am constantly surprised how much plot they can pack into 7 or 8 minutes and how endearing all the characters have become, even the "villains". (Except Riley. Hate her. Hate, hate, hate... as I assume we're supposed to.) I really hope Bruiser was lying, though. Wouldn't want to inflict that sort of childhood trauma on little Deena and Smulders.

Thanks, Kevin, I'm glad you're enjoying them. I've been wondering whether to do less recapping and more discussion as some people have said that they like the discussion parts more.

I've always enjoyed reading other people's interpretations and recaps of shows because they don't always see the same things I do. We shall see... :)

:) Poor old Bladezz. He has gone from the bad boy to the sad boy - very tragical (and very funny).

The ending, though, was definitely a shock-bomb. I'm still shocked now!

Gotta say, I loved this episode - as I do with all of the Guild episodes! =D The scene with Bladezz breaking down was, in my mind, made of pure awesome and win; to be honest, that's the best "gnashing of teeth" scene I've seen in quite some time. Worked perfectly for me.

On another note, I'm also definitely getting a sense of empathy and pity for poor Zaboo. Sure, he's a creepy internet stalker - but, c'mon, he's also effectively an innocent, caught in the clutches of the Evil Stupid Tall Hot Girl - I mean, Riley...

All in all, loved the episode, and loved this review. Certainly enjoyed Higlet's thoughts and commentary! Also, I must agree that the ending was a shocking shock-bomb to the face. Bruiser is fast becoming a great character in my opinion.
