However the scene with Zaboo in the closet really took me out of it. People being lamely tied up on TV is a pet peeve of mine, and duck tape on the mouth especially so (it doesn't work!). I guess it goes back to me playing escape artist when I was a kid; my friends would tie me up and leave me locked in a closet and I would have to get out on my own. At least I think that's what we were playing. Anyway, the point is that a feather boa wrapped loosely around somebody's wrist and secured with a twist-tie couldn't even restrain Zaboo, let alone support his weight if he was knocked out.
