Pink Raygun has been invited to a SyFy Channel press event in Vancouver this October. The event includes set visits for Stargate: Universe, Sanctuary and Caprica, as well as Q & A sessions with cast members from the programs (exact cast members still to be determined).

Question re: Caprica –
I loved the 2hr pilot movie that was released! However, I'm curious about how the people of the 12 tribes will be portrayed. We'll obviously be getting more into the Tauron people, as one of the show's leads is William Adama's father. And this show will seemingly involve more interplanetary dealings. I notice that the Taurons are generally portrayed by Hispanic actors – they are also the race with a tendency toward crime syndicate ties and violence with knives. I remember from BSG that the Sagitarons are mostly portrayed by black actors, and that they tend to be the most fervently religious. Meanwhile, Caprica, the colony where all the white characters seem to originate, is the capital of the colonies, and the most cosmopolitan and well-educated.
Is this done on purpose to reflect how race is divided in real life? Do you worry about stereotyping when making character/race choices like this? How will decisions like that be approached on Caprica?

will we ever see or meet helen's mother?
For Sanctuary:
1. What was it like for Amanda Tapping to direct an episode of Sanctuary? Was it difficult balancing her jobs as director, producer, and actor?
2. Will there be more Tesla and Watson in season 2?
3. Will we see little Ashley growing up surrounded by abnormals?
4. How many Sanctuaries are there and where exactly is Magnus' Sanctuary located?
Wow – what a great opportunity! And *ahem* I live about 1 hour away from Vancouver….fyi.
Anyway, I have a couple of questions for the Caprica cast members –
With BSG there was an over-arching plot with many sub-plot, characters coming in an out of focus and so many tangles it was hard to piece it together. (We'll skim over the ending bit of BSG for the obvious reason). Do you know how long the arc is going to be for your characters?
Since we know the end of the story, is it strange to think about how the actions characters in Caprica take are going to have such far-reaching and devastating results in the long-term? Or is that not important?
What is it like to work with Jane Espenson? Do you read her Twitter (as @CapricaSeven)?
For Sanctuary:
Will we see more of the early years with Helen and the Five?
