This week, BBC Radio 4 is airing three new episodes of Torchwood. The radio plays feature Eve Myles, John Barrowman, and Gareth-David Lloyd as Gwen Cooper, Catpain Jack, and Ianto, The Man Who’s Made of Awesome.

Asylum
Air date: July 1st
PC Andy arrests a teenager for shoplifting and thinks it’s going to be a routine case. He then spots the weapon she is carrying and decides to call in Torchwood.
When Gwen questions the girl, she remembers her name, but little else, and, when she speaks, it is a strange mix of English and Scandinavian but with a Cardiff accent. The team is later faced with a dilemma when the girl’s blood test results come back.
Golden Age
Air date: July 2nd
The team heads to Delhi on the trail of a dangerous energy field. As the energy field grows, the team witnesses the simultaneous disappearance of hundreds of people and Jack discovers that the field centres on an old colonial mansion – Torchwood India.
The Dead Line
Air Date: July 3rd
When a Cardiff hospital is inundated with patients who have fallen into coma-like trances after receiving phone calls from a decades out of date number, Torchwood moves in to investigate.
The episodes will stream live online on BBC Radio 4 July 1st through 3rd at 2:15 PM GMT (that’s 9:15 AM Eastern, 6:15 AM Pacific). If that’s too early to listen live, BBC Radio 4 typically has their programs available for listening on demand for a few days after the initial broadcast.

Ooh!!! Thank you, Lisa! I saw the announcement that they were doing these, but it didn't say when. The time slot is actually kind of perfect for me, since I start work at 9am (EDT) and am mostly glued to my desk these days editing things — code, images, other website-y stuff. This'll be a nice distraction.
"…and Ianto, The Man Who’s Made of Awesome."
Mister Jones, if you're nasty.

I'll be in transit tomorrow, but will catch Thursday and Friday for sure!
Dear sweet Jeebus is it good to hear those voices (and that theme music) again.
That last one just broke my heart in all the best ways. Can't wait for Children of Earth!
