Lisa, I'm so jealous that you have new Supernatural to discover! While I thought Season 4 was amazing, many of my favorite Supernatural episodes appeared at the end of Season 1 and Season 2 (wait until you see, for example, In My Time of Dying, Nightshifter, Houses of the Holy, Heart, All Hell Breaks Loose I & II and, especially, What is and What Should Never Be. And Season 3 has Mystery Spot and Fresh Blood and the Christmas episode and . . . . Boy, I could go on and on about what you have waiting for you. I would love to read reports from you as you discover these amazing episodes. I'm intending to rewatch also.
Enjoy!
I don't read too many webcomics,, about 6 in total (reguraly and semi-reguraly), but i absolutely love Multiplex (it's about movies,b ut mostly it's about the people who work at the multiplex, including kick-ass females) http://www.multiplexcomic.com/ And it updates regularly. Another comic that i love is Matriculated: http://digitalpimponline.com/strips.php?title=mat (updates wednesdays), and Joe Dunn's movie comic, Joe Loves Crappy Movies: http://digitalpimponline.com/strips.php?title=mov… which updates randomly but is a lot of fun.
Good luck with all of your other summer projects too. I can't wait to read about the results.
How about checking out LUMINA, a new fantasy thriller web series? Our trailer is out on YouTube HD:

And our website is on http://www.luminaseries.com.
There are some awesome webcomics out there, if you're looking for ones with interesting female characters (and written by females) have a look at Emily Adamo's Fun In Jammies:

And (NSFW but it's really good) Rene Engstrom's Anders Loves Maria:

Almost forgot this great webcomic: Lynn French's Dark Red:

Congratulations on your newfound freedom! While the load is much lighter, I've still got a handful of summer shows to keep me close to the TV. With So You Think You Can Dance starting up again; The Unusuals, Pushing Daisies, Harper's Island, and Kings finishing out their runs; Burn Notice, Eureka, and Leverage all returning over the next couple months; as well as the premieres of Merlin and Warehouse 13, my DVR will be almost as busy as usual. Thank goodness for lazy Sunday mornings.
As for webcomics, if you haven't already I encourage you to take a look at xkcd by Randall Munroe. It's full of geeky stick figure goodness. I'm also a big fan of Unshelved, a daily comic about the wackiness of public libraries. As a library staffer, I may be slightly biased, but I think it's hilarious in its accuracy.
Oh, and my wonderful sister-in-law is a big fan of Sinfest, which I always enjoy when she points me to it, so I'm adding it to my blogroll now.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
