Jadzia was a good match for Worf, but he and Deanna are such polar opposites that the idea of them together is intriguing. (I'd make Riker shave his beard, too – he's better with it, but I'd rather not be reminded of where he mouth has been.)

While I agree that any romantic relationship involving Worf is made of awesome, I still prefer him with Jadzia. Why, oh why, did Terry Farrell have to get scared off by the prospect of typecasting? (Not that I don't love Nicole deBoer, 'cause I do, but Jadzia is just cooler than Ezri.) Plus, Deanna made Riker shave his beard. ::pout:: [/sidetrack]

At first, his relationship with Uhura threw me for a loop, but it was all worth it to see Kirk get his comeuppance on the transporter when Spock knew Uhura's first name. Yeah – that's right, Kirk. Intelligent, quiet hot guy trumps loud, hot blowhard (who may be intelligent but is too busy doing his hair to let anyone see it half the time).

And KARL URBAN WAS PERFECT. And actually, I've seen some pics of him and Kelley placed side by side where he looks more like the original McCoy than he might at first glance. But the voice – OH THE VOICE – is what killed me! It's totally as though DeForrest Kelley were possessing this actor. And yes, he is indeed hot – though I found him hotter when we first see him when he's all stubbly.

However, talk trash though I may about Kirk in this movie – Chris Pine was fabulous in the part. And he looks really good in his underwear.

I agree with everything you wrote! I loved this movie and Karl Urban was amaaaaazing.

It really makes me happy that Uhura was so effing cool. She deserves it (and Spock).

Although this movie has made me long for some new Pegg movies. I want more Pegg movies, damnit.
