Heroes: Matt and Mo 4 Ever

By Lisa Fary

I hoped Matt and Mo would kiss. It would have been a totally appropriate cap to the fountain of emotion that exploded all over that purple motel room.

But, first. . .

How happy was I to see an ep without a frame of Claire, Sylar, Hiro or Ando? Almost as happy as I was to be eating fresh baked sticky toffee pudding. Mmmmm. . . sticky toffee pudding.

Can someone just flag Nathan for the turncoat mutant he is? Mohinder was in a room with Nathan and an agent. That would have been a good time. Last week, he was in a room with Tracy and an agent. That would have been a good time, too.

Better yet, let’s have Claire attend a state dinner with her biodad and announce it in a toast, then punctuate it by throwing him out a window while President Worf looks on. However, in that case, would Nathan fly to save his own life or let himself fall to an asphalty death?

Speaking of, is anything going to happen with President Worf? Are we ever going to see him again?  (And wouldn’t it be awesome if he had an ability, too!)

I’m so glad Matt and Mo got back together. The two of them belong together. They had some issues to work out with betrayals (Matt’s betrayal with Daphne, Mo’s less fruitful betrayal with Noah) and carried on bickering like a Big Brother showmance until resorting to blows (heh).

And then!

Peter pulled a smart escape maneuver from Noah’s storage locker and he actually managed to pull a trigger. Granted, he waited way too long to do so – that weaselly guy should have been able to disarm him in that time – and took a useless shot in the arm, but still.  That’s progress.

Mo also made progress: he did something honorable by acting as a diversion for Matt. Even though Mo is now imprisoned and Matt is somewhere in the sky with Peter, their love beats strong and true.

Now, let’s keep Mo as far away from a lab as possible, shall we?

Lisa Fary's earliest influences are Princess Leia, Rainbow Bright, Astronaut Barbie, and her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Palmer. She's angry that it's 2011 and she still doesn't have a hovercraft, but will accept a jetpack as consolation. That jetpack had better be pink with a rhinestone monogram.

I agree. Matt and Mohinder? I thought their love was epic. (Bonus points if you actually get that reference.)
