Lost 5.3: Jughead

By Teresa Jusino

Usually, Desmond episodes are the best of the lot. He’s a fascinating character that has an important part to play in the grand scheme of the Lost universe. So why was most of this episode, entitled Jughead, so boring?

Stargate Atlantis: Enemy at the Gate

By Wolfen Moondaughter

I know I’m terribly overdue with this, the final edition of this Stargate Atlantis recap-and-review column. Part of it is due to other commitments, of course (and the lure of other fandoms, like Underworld), but there’s also the simple fact of this being then end. I’m reluctant to say goodbye, coupled with the odd conundrum of not being satisfied enough with the finale to have been eager to watch it again. Creature of dichotomy, me.

Words on Worlds of Warcraft: Behaviors

by John Zakour – Okay, maybe I am bit more sensitive these weeks but lately I’ve been noticing a lot more rude behavior in WoW. So here are a few behaviors I would like to see curbed in WoW. I think it would make the game a much more enjoyable experience for all.

Smallville: Legion

By TrinityVixen

If there was one thing Smallville didn’t have enough of, it’s superpowered people with IQs inversely proportional to their proximity to Clark’s self-righteousness. It is bad enough that the JLA is MIA for fear of their members forgetting how to blow their noses. Do we really need to raid and ruin the intelligence of the future heroes?

Buffy for Beginners 3.20: The Prom

By Sabrina Boyer

Looking back, Prom was lame. The idea, the spending money on a dress I haven’t worn since, the actual Prom itself where there was no one dancing on the dance floor except one lone girl who was not looked upon fondly by the senior class, and I didn’t have a date. I went with a group of friends, and I guess you could say my “date” was my best friend Gina. At the time, Prom seemed like it would live up to Pretty in Pink proportions, or at the very least, be attacked by vampires or zombies. But no. It was just…prom. Lower case p.

Supernatural: Criss Angel is a Douchebag

by Sylvia Bond – I know the rest of the world has moved on from this, but every single time I see Barry Bostwick in any role, I immediately picture him in fishnet stockings, a black corset, with a feather in his hair, floating on an inner tube in a swimming pool with Tim Curry, who is similarly dressed. I know, I know, Barry has worked hard to move on from this interesting role, selected when he was young and inexperienced, but when you’ve seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show as many times as I have (and my numbers are in the respectable range), that image of Barry and his beautiful legs becomes emblazoned in your brain.

In Memory of Kim Manners.

Good Night, Dear Heart by Sylvia Bond In hard times such as we have been having, it would be nice to think that some things don’t change, that talent, once discovered, will last forever. Alas, this is not the case. I learned today to my dismay that one of my favorite directors had passed away [...]

Comics: Studio 407

By Lisa Fary

I’ve been a bad comics fangirl. For months, there was less and less that I was interested in and now, I haven’t set foot in the comic shop since. . . when was it? Some time in December? I don’t even remember, now. However, the next time I do walk it, I hope to see comics from Studio 407 on the shelves.
