You know, there could be a possibility of more Star Trek stuntcasting in Heroes' future.

Not too long ago, I watched a conversation between @wilw and @greggrunberg in which Grunberg said he's love to have Wheaton on the show, and Wheaton said he'd love to be on the show. So we know there's at least conversations occurring on some level.

Pink Raygun News, Reviews and Interviews for Fangirls... and boys
Where Tank Girl and Hello Kitty Meet.

Well, she's never far from my thoughts of Trek alumni, since I read her pretend son's blog. Yay, Wil!

There's also Michelle Forbes (Ro Laren from TNG) who seems to be popping up on all the genre shows in the past few years... BSG and True Blood just to name a couple.

You're right. My schoolgirlish crush on Quinto is why I wish for his survival. (For shame Rhea, for shame.) Nathan will be an interesting villain, what with all the corporte "deny the truth" X-Files-y conspiracy surrounding his villain-ness already. Also, it's already making the Petrelli brothers interesting again. I want my 'so weird, yet so hot' brotherly relationship back. Nathan and Peter were practically strangers in this season.

I like Dorn, but feel like Heroes has overdone in the Star Trek mining. They didn't even give Nichelle Nichols anything to do! I'm hoping that Dorn is given a meatier role than the other ST vets who've appeared, but I'm not getting my hope up yet, either. I get the feeling he'll be more like Morgan Freeman in Deep Impact: all he did was give speeches in that movie.

While wracking my brain for wise women stuntcasting guest stars, I totally overlooked Dr. Crusher. There are several that can be mined from Trek: Counselor Troi, Captain Janeway, Seven of Nine, Tasha Yar. I wouldn't mind seeing Erin Gray from Buck Rogers, either!

I hope Sylar is really dead, completely dead. Not out of dislike for the character, but because he's kind of a crutch. When the current storyline isn't working, Sylar can always be counted on to go on a killing spree, forcing the supers to team up and take him on. Heroes is in desperate need of a new Big Bad, and I think Nathan Petrelli will fit that role nicely. He's a self-loathing douchebag and now he has the entire United States government behind him.

I love you, Lisa.

All this character inconsistency is getting mighty annoying. Really, the only good thing to come out of it was Claire finally starting to become the badass we know she will be. (Although I was yelling at her to kick Sylar in the ribs when he had her hanging against the wall.) Well, that and President Worf. I don't care what anyone says, Michael Dorn will always be awesome. :)

I'm with you on the stuntcasting suggestions, and would like to respectfully submit good old Gates McFadden for consideration. I have no idea what she's been up to since TNG, but Mama Crusher needs some lovin', too. Oh, and Clancy Brown has played a good guy... on the short-lived and little watched Earth 2 (a show I actually really like).

Worf! I see you!

That was Sylar narrating the beginning right? Why him, all of a sudden? Did his little showdown warrant the right to narrative voice over? Cause once the show was over, back to Mohinder. And by the way, Sylar better not be dead. Or maybe it's better that he's dead. I dunno. Quinto is Spock now, he doesn't really need to come back....

I thnk it's funny that Star Trek has one again become the casting director of a show: first Takei, then Nichols, and now Dorn. And they found an actor for Trek here too -- Quinto!

It reminds me of the days of Gargoyles, which featured the voices of : Frankes, Sirtis, Dorn, Spiner, Meaney, Nichols, Takei, Burton, and Mulgrew. And then there was Rhys Davies who went on *after* to be on Voyager himself (so Quinto follows in his footsteps)..
