Free Pumpkin Carving Template – Supernatural’s Impala
(UPDATED to fix previous carving oversight) Because those crazy, rabid Supernatural fans demanded it (and really, who can blame them for being crazy and rabid about Show), Pink Raygun is proud to present our first vehicular pumpkin template. Traditionally, the type of vehicle that one might expect to be associated with a pumpkin has more to do with fairy godmothers and glass slippers than the pure bad-assery of Poppa Winchester’s transport, but not this year.

Hee! Awesome! Thanks so much for posting this!
Anyone who does this and is on LiveJournal should totally submit it to the “spn_bakeoff”! (Y’know, if they wanted to.) It would be fun to see more food-related Supernatural stuff going again.
Glad to do it. Check back next week – we’ve got a couple more SPN related pumpkin templates in the works.
“Do you think its cuz we’re awesome!?”
and yes, yes this is.
This is amazing!! Thanks so much for making it.
Just one question – how do you keep the points of the stars on the pumpkin? Do you carve it out and leave the skin intact?
Cause this looks WAY cool….
@ Gem – UMMMM – I screwed up.
I’ll fix it tonight and upload a revised copy. If you don’t mind, I’ll just email you a revised copy some time during the evening.
Another option is to just scrape away some of the orange skin for the Devil’s Trap area, and then carve as normal for the car.
Were you ever able to update the image? I still see the center of the devil's trap falling out if carved as-is
I had just said that all I needed was the Metallicar…Now I have to learn how to carve well enough to this is. Wow!!!
Am I being particularly stupid? You keep mentioning templates you’re designing, like individual ones of Sam and Dean, or the one I requested of John and Rodney, but I haven’t seen them posted. Am I missing something or are they really not being posted?
You're not stupid – I just ran out of time last year, what with work, trying to make the website keep functioning with the increased demands placed on our (then) sub-standard hosting platform, etc. We're on a better host this year, and I've got extra time, so things will be better.
Apologies for taking 48 weeks to respond to this. Unacceptable.
Check back Thursday, October 1 2009 for a pair of standalone Dean and Sam templates, and next week for standalone templates of John and Cas.
I thought I did – but let me check.
Updated Dean's Impala – also made some changes to replace curved lines with straight – simplifies the design slightly, and makes for easier cutting.
*glee* pretty sure it'll be on my porch this year
