It’s Thursday, so that must mean more free pumpkin carving templates!
Today, we’ve got Captain Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones (does he have a title?) from Torchwood. Ready to defend your doorstep from all sorts of creepy threats, including people trying to get your support for Anti-Same-Sex Marriage initiatives on the ballot this November.
Just click on the image below to download the PDF file.
Remember, we WANT to see your pumpkin carving results. Be sure to send a picture of your completed pumpkin to john@pinkraygun.com. We’ll be posting the pictures for all to see throughout October.
Keep checking back for more “Torchwood” themed pumpkin templates – we’ll get the whole team together in pumpkin form well before Halloween. If “Torchwood” isn’t for you, go download Monday’s Sam and Dean Winchester (CW’s “Supernatural”), Tuesday’s Doctor Who, Wednesday’s Hurley, or take a look at our Star Trek (TOS), Heroes, Donnie Darko, Pan’s Labyrinth and Firefly pumpkin carving templates from 2007.

Yay! o/
My boys look good in orange.
Eeeeek! Jack + Ianto 4ever!
Yeah, I just wrote that. But seriously, waaaay cool.
If you attempt these templates, just go slowly with the carving. The most difficult part will be the left eyes of both Jack and Ianto.
Tip: Scrape away as much of the pumpkin on your carving side as you can – you shouldn’t have more than 1/3rd to 1/2 an inch to have to cut through.
Cut the face of the pumpkin completely off and work on your carving with the pumpkin sitting on a flat surface. You can always reattach the pumpkin’s face with toothpicks on the inside when you’re ready to display.
Should the eye break off while carving, don’t despair. Clean up the broken piece as much as possible, and use a toothpick to reattach the broken piece to the pumpkin.
If it all seems like too much work, just use the template to mark the areas on your pumpkin that you will scrape the outer layer of dark orange skin with (rather than cutting all the way through).
Have fun!
Is it just me or does Jack look a bit like Jet Li in this?
