Robin–the hair is kind of troublesome. But I’ll overlook it cause my crush on Lee crushes any misgivings I may have about his hair…or his character. :p

For a minute there in the hallway, while being confronted with a dead cat in a bag and an armed, lunatic lawyer, Lee’s hair was looking awfully. . . Baltar-ish. It was longish and combed straight back and kinda oily looking. Baltar’s hair was like that when he became president. . . .

He is. I love all the tailored suits (There’s a tailor in the fleet? Cool. Wait, where are they getting fabric?), but I’m not that fond of what they’re doing with his hair. It looks… I dunno, weird. I get that he’s moving away from the short, military thing he had going for a long time, but… Maybe he’s just overdoing it with the product or something. We’ll see.

“Due to next week’s promo, my mom is convinced that Roslin is the final cylon.”

I think the teaser is a big misdirect. Ron Moore has said that the final Cylon is not is the ‘Last Supper’ photo, and she’s definitely in there. Of course, he could be lying, but he doesn’t usually do that sort of thing to the fans.

While watching this episode, one of my roommates proposed that the final Cylon might be Doc Cottle. Nothing to back it up really, but it would be an interesting choice. Personally, my money’s still on Gaeta.

Admiral Adama never really wanted to accept colonial government in humanity’s near annihilation. He was resistant to Roslin at the beginning, and I think he’s only willing to accept government from her at this point. He knows how to work with her. He know what she wants and what her goals are. Also, from his perspective, the presidency may be too important to leave up to legalities such as who is next in line. It’s no war on terror , but this person has the fate of all (known) humanity in their hands. He probably wants someone in the office who will make the right decisions. Zarek may not be that person.

Here’s the thing that bugs me about Lee on this show: They have a tendency of putting him in high-ranking jobs just because they don’t quite know what to do w/ the character. He’s CAG by default – ok, I’ll give him that one – but making him the Commander of the Pegasus and jumping him 5 grades in rank? That seems a bit much, especially since, logically, Tigh or Major Kelly should have gotten it. And now the presidency feels – to me – like “This Year’s Pegasus,” when there was no logical reason why Zarek shouldn’t have it. I mean, legally it’s his, he’s already been president once, breifly. If they’re not gonna’ let him become president and redeem himself, then what the hell has the character been hanging around for all this time?

Yeah but, are they really the final 5? I mean, it would NOT surprise me at all if Tigh and the rest weren’t even Cylons and, in fact, the final 5 were the ‘hareem girls’ from Baltar’s sect. It could happen…

And yes, Tigh ‘doing it’ with…ewwww plus thensome. But you gotta love a guy who can make his mouth turn down so much it looks like his head is on upsidedown. A rare talent indeed.

Anders is definitely on the baseship. I couldn’t help worrying after the episode where the jumped that he was going to get into trouble being around all that cylon interface water/goo. At some point he’s just going to jump into it.
