I believe that aliens are out there somewhere, but I also believe that this particular alien tape is bogus. Believing that we’re not alone doesn’t mean we have to accept every sighting, every photo, and every tape.

I hate to tell everyone this but aliens are real, in fact we are the only nation left in the U.N that has not publicly admitted to “something” strange flying around in the skys. Mexico has held press conferences asking the U.S to help them in the investigation into UFO phenom, maybe we should all just come to realize that we aren’t the most powerful or advanced species in the univefrse.

Looks like someone outside holding up an alien head sculpture…

What’s the story behind this? Was it supposedly taken without the aliens’ knowledge? If so, how? They’re sposed to be able to control electronic devices. If not, why didn’t the alien pose in better lighting?

I can see this being included in a sociology student’s PhD thesis.

But, given the number of alien documentaries with “real” footage already in existence, both on DVD and on cable, I’m doubtful that this one would have much of an effect on the broader belief in aliens.

True, it isn’t stated exactly what the documentary is about, but we can infer that based on the facts that are out there. The documentary is by Stan Romanek. Looking him up, one can see that he has no claim to fame other than his alien experiences and some equations brought on by hypnosis. A documentary by this person that includes the Denver footage is likely to be about alien encounters.

John has just suggested that this would all be a great publicity stunt for the new X-Files movie.

I have a slightly different take on this. I have a feeling based on what I have seen, the progression of events, how information is hidden at first, then only after its too late to verify revealed, etc that this is not so much a hoax as it is a study on sheeple.

28th video is announced with unnamed expert
29th expert is revealed
30th video is shown
…
3 months later a documentary is released

Looking at the facts it was never stated what the documentary is about. Or at least I never saw anyone say what it was about, only that it would include this footage. The way this is released would give a few a taste of the information, then as its shown more publicly to the media – in a way it cannot be authenticated – more reporters will write about it, and the story itself will grow.

What if a poll was done a week or two ago asking how many believe in aliens, and if in 2+ months the same question will be asked again and the results compared. That would provide all the framework for a documentary on sheeple, how even inaccurate, highly unlikely things can be believed by the masses simply because the news told them, and how easy it is to trick the news into reporting said information.

I am not saying its this, but I think it is, although hope that the footage is real, I wont hold my breath for it to be real.
