“The baby is enormous!”
He is, but there are rules in Hollywood that say any baby used for filming has to be at least three months old. ER got around that restriction by spending a lot of money to have an anamatronic premie built, but it would have been cost-prohibitive for Lost, since the baby was only in a few episodes.
As for the rest… Yeah, I feel badly for the Oceanic Six, too. I think their motivation for the cover story is to protect the rest of the crash survivors. The battle between Dharma and Whitmore seems to be putting them in a really sticky situation. I don’t know what’s going to go wrong that it prevents those who want to leave from doing so, but I’m sure it won’t be good.
Heh. Yeah, I know that they can’t use actual newborns for filming. I just figured they could pick a baby that wasn’t quite…so…robust.
Just like, yes, I know the actor playing Walt must have gone through puberty. It was just funny when Michael finally found him, and he looked like he was ready to go to college!
