I don't see why you wrote this article, personally? It seems you are deliberately trying to insult these people to gain attention to boost your show. I am sure you will have some glib response which I will consider another opportunity for grandstanding. I find this whole page very unprofessional. You even mentioned age and I am sure you aren't over the hill. Are you a senior citizen, I am and consider your article an example of someone of the younger generations and amateurish? You brought up many things that were not necessary to do a viable critique of the show. You can call me a full on Professor at the University of debunking know-it-alls.

I am not a big fan of Paranormal state but I can clearly see you are overly biased and exceedingly rude in your review of this show. Some of their statements stem from religious viewpoints. They were clearly wrong about the pentagram in the window of the prison. It isn't a given it is a Satanic symbol. These symbols predate Christianity thus their use is varied with many meanings depending on who is using them. Psychics aren't always correct even the best of them and most wouldn't take a challenge by this Randi guy because quite frankly that would be using their abilities frivolously and merely for money. Psychics charge for their time when it is sought after, but many give a large portion of their time freely. They are not always correct but most believe possibly 80 percent of the time, it is a gift but also a skill in decifering what they are getting whether it be feelings or anything else.

- what the deuce!? some things are cut? frome those 22 minutes of actual show, I'd say they should cuy/replace 21,5 of it. There were nevere anything significant, and everytime something was ABOUT TO HAPPEN, they cranked up the volume of the soundeffects to a level where it nearly covered all other sounds. a door opening.. come on! someone could have been behind it pulling it open.

I REALLY tried to believe in thsi show.. but they again and again just convinced me it's a waste of freakin' time to watch this load of junk. oh, and did you know before the show was made, the guys financing it went ahead and did reasearch at each occation to make sure the episode was" airable".. ofcorse none of those casting knew that at all.. pff.. this whole serie is just bullshit, and they don't even make you think "whoa.. maybe that's true? seems crazy, but shit.. it could be.." – Because.. al they do is BULLSHIT!

listen.. I just watched this show, and this bad review of it isn't nearly half as describing as it could be. Tough I found it very enjoyable to read.

oh, one more thing;

in season one, they establish "dead time" at 3:00 in th emorning.. I'm from Norway, and not really into pm/am.. anyways; I skipped aftert 6 episodes ahead, to season 5.. appearently, there "dead time" could be induced at any godgiven time they liked, so.. as you say here, they don't give any reason for the dead time.. appearently they also are superhumans in control of supernatural power's daily/nightly schedules, and if it's more convenient for them to shoot at 1;42 than 3;00, well then heck, let's just change all the current "established" rules of "dead time", and just go ahead! it's not lik they're EVER gonna find or prove or thrill anything(other than numbnuts) so why the hell not just fuck up a part of the consept you based the start of the show on? Yeah, brilliant freakin' moronry.. there's so much more to say, but seriously.. watch this show, they're all a bunch of pretentious douches.

Oh yeah, I think that Chuck/Chip guy should really grow up. seiously man. You look like a 60 year old baby, and on the show, you shed as many tears as a 2 year old. Get a job. No, no.. not your scamming bis, get a JOB you lazy fat paleskinned glasswearing cheating lyar of a thief! – you stole my belief in ghosts man, and to be honest, I've fucking seen one on my bed at a cabin once, just sitting there, getting up moving for the dorr.. hell, I flipped the lightswitch quicker then you scam someone for 400 bucks after they press your hyperlinks. fucker. there may be more between heaven and hell, but you sure as hell ain't getting us the right direction with your lies. farewell.

This is so sad. Ok… it's understandable to be skeptical about the paranormal but to blantently put somone down for helping others??? That is really sad. Maybe you should do some investigating of your own. Contact people that have been helped by these shows and other psychic/mediums such as Chip Coffey and maybe… just maybe you will rethink your posts. But you won't do that because you are closed minded. That is really sad.

Hmmm. I'm rich and educated. I'm a clinical research scientist. I was the last person to believe that my house was "haunted". I got a good slap in the face when I could no longer consider events as "coincidence", or force myself to believe there was some other logical explanation. When this happens (for many years)…and you have construction workers quit…relatives who are held down and strangled by "unknown" forces…and dozens of witnesses…how do you explain it away? I tried. Trust me! PRS consults professionals and spends a lot of time "disproving" people before they even think of putting them on their show. You may think they're fake, but I've got proof that they're not. They truly want to help people like me who have no where else to turn.

I personally got to experience the gift of Chip Coffey. I was the one who sought out PRS…out of sheer desperation for the events me and my family had experienced for years. Chip impressed me with his insight of events that were NEVER divulged to the PRS team (or anyone else for that matter). He is the real-deal as far as I'm concerned. I thank the PRS team…and Chip for their assistance and help in trying to rid my home of the evil we have endured. For those of you who DON'T believe…I can understand. I was a non-believer until I lived it. This show is not scripted. It is not fake…we are REAL people with REAL problems…and no where to turn to. Thank you Chip! You made a difference in my life. I didn't mention God.__"Ghost Hunters International". is even worse than Paranormal State. I too have a "gift", but I don't earn a dime when I'm helping someone. Hey, John Collier, If you don't appreciate and believe in this great show, why are you watching it?

Ryan Buell, Chip Coffey, and all the curious and helpful people on this show are simply trying to help those that are struggling with the PRS that's in their lives. I think there are only a gifted few in this world that God gave the ability to be able to actually communicate with people who have died. These people are only trying to help them. Wouldn't you want to have some answers if this was happening to you?

There is definately something that happens to our souls after we die. No one goes into the afterlife the same way. There's always a connection to the living.

As for "rich and educated folks", God doesn't discriminate.
