Chest hair preservation is a serious issue. No, this isn’t just an excuse for me to post half naked pictures of Jack from Lost.
Normally, any scene where Jack is walking around half-naked is a good scene. In last night’s episode, he spent the first several minutes wandering around the house in nothing but a towel, which should have been awesome.
But, it wasn’t (and not because he wound up in the shower with Kate. Seriously, those two are so screwed up, they’re performing a public service by being with each other and sparing the world their crap).
Jack’s half-naked wasn’t awesome because he waxed, and a hairless torso on a forty year old guy is weird.

Season Two Jack isn’t so hairy that he looks like he’s wearing a mohair sweater, but there’s just enough there to say, “Yeah, I’m manly.” And to inspire a bit of drool.
Season Four Jack looks like a hairless cat.

I would take hairy over waxed any day. Waxed is for kids and gay men, I’m all for a real man.

I have to say, you have a point! I hadn’t noticed it while watching the episode, I just new something was different, heh.
I think the fact that he’s so much paler/pink doesn’t help the hairless little boy look.
No stretching has occurred – love handles are actual size.
I’m all for buying a tract of land to open the Pink Raygun Chest Hair Rehabilitation Ranch.
Yeah, he’s still okay without the chest hair, but he looks all barren and weird. With chest hair he’s much sexier.

Lost is an unknown entity for me (I know! But my excuse is that I’m from England and it was never on at the right time) so I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing the subject moving around de-shirted. But I’ve got to say, the chest hair is the winner.
Waxed he looks like an underdone chicken, but with his chest hair he looks natural and not too bad at all! Love handles or not, at least he looks real, which is more than can be said for most pretty-boys on TV! Though my 40-yr-old looks better
a nicely-dispersed, fully-grown, curly configuration of glorious, masculine, mammalian hirsuteness is best. waxed, shaven, or 1-7mm of regrown hair falls short of satisfaction. maybe okay for gay porn (not to devalue gay porn, for it does have some high quality male nudity), but even gay porn can’t top a big, ripped, hairy guy. bear porn tends to favor the husky, but a lean tom selleck type is better. that’s why i quit looking at jack and focused on keamy– kevin durand has held my attention for a while now. he just has a little bit of hair, but he makes up in definition what he lacks in the short and curlies. (my god, that runner’s girdle alone)

The biggest mystery of the island ever. Season 1 and 2 Jack – furry. How and why did he go smooth? Never explained. He looks like a shaved house pet after they been fixed. Ewwww and the razor bumps. Blech.
I was very disappointed when I first saw Jack waxed… I thought he was a real man and that is how he looks so hot…. i like men to look natural and waxed hair doesn´t look good for some people…
