It is so freaking HARD to avoid spoilers from this show, especially since we’re a couple episodes behind. So hard. But I think I’m doing a pretty good job.

My favorite bits were the lighthearted ones at the beginning with Miss Jones and the team prodding each other for information. And, yes, the frowny face, although it had some stiff competition from the brief faraway look Ianto got when remembering his ‘dabbling’.

I gasped with delight during the Tosh-and-Owen scene. I have been seeing glimmers of hope all season that he was finally coming around, and he did. Hooray! Although, she is the only female member of Torchwood 3 that he hasn’t slept with yet, and I’m not sure whether that makes her lucky or left out.

“While Jack is questioning the assassin about the Pharm…”

So gross, but how cool was Ianto wrangling that weevil.

“Team Torchwood loads into the SUV and they’re off, using the assassin’s dead body to ‘drive’ the SUV right through the front door.”

A really clever plan, but to quote our Mr. Jones, “You are deeply warped on the inside.” Toshiko scares me a little with how delighted — almost giggly — she is by her scheme.

“Dies. Owen, delightful sarcastic, ‘I’m going on a date with Tosh soon’ Owen, is dead. What?!?!?!?”

Quite shocking, but I doubt it’s permanent. Then again, RTD is an avowed Joss Whedon fan, and the almighty Joss swears by periodic main character death. I suppose we’ll just have to wait until the next episode and find out… or scour the interwebs for spoilers.
