John McCain feels his soul shrivel up as he accepts Bush’s support.
This is Bush showing support for Undead Grampers after this week’s New York Times article which suggested an inappropriate relationship between Undead Grampers and a female lobbyist. However, it’s not the implied sex stuff that raises concern (a politician had an illicit affair? That’s never happened in this history of American politics!!!!). It’s the evidence that Undead Grampers, the anti-lobbyist maverick, really does work with lobbyists.

One point of contention is whether Undead Grampers actually spoke to Lowell Paxon (the party represented by the female lobbyist) or not. Paxon says yes. McCain says no.
“We understood that he [McCain] did not speak directly with him [Paxson]. Now it appears he did speak to him. What is the difference?”
A four year old could point the difference: one is a lie. And, as any four year old can tell you, lies are bad.
Lie or not, the White House accused the Times of dropping bombshells on the GOP on a regular basis, and this is just one more of their cockamamy, liberal press antics.
Looking at the photo above, it’s not surprising that Undead Grampers has refused to comment on Bush’s support in this matter.
