This column has been all about Mitt Romney for the past couple of days. It appears that Mittens is my new Tom Tancredo: I can always count on Mittens to say something silly and inappropriate, such as:
“Bob Dole is the last person I’d want to write a letter for me.”
Really? Bob Dole is the most repugnant supporter you can think of, Mittens? What about Rick Santorum? He’s pretty repugnant. Oh, wait. . . Santorum endorsed you and is likely to be your running mate if you manage to pull off the nomination. Well, that was awkward.

“I think we’re best as a party, at least in my own view, when we bring somebody in from the outside. “
You mean like a consultant? Did you ever bring an outside consultant in to any of your businesses? Do you have any idea how much employees hate the outside consultants? The consultant never gets invited to happy hour and usually doesn’t have any solutions that weren’t already proposed by someone who actually works there.
Mittens also wants the world to know that he’s totally not jealous of Barack Obama’s huge rallies. Romney’s tiny rallies are just fine for him, thanks.
