Moonlight: The People’s Choice Award for Best New TV Drama

Thanks to fans’ relentless efforts to support and promote Moonlight, the supernatural series was named “Favorite New TV Drama” on Wednesday’s telecast of the 34th Annul People’s Choice Awards on the CBS Television Network.The award was accepted by Moonlight’s lead star Alex O’Loughlin, who plays a charming private investigator who struggles with his immortality as a vampire, on behalf of the cast and crew via video from Australia. The series also stars Sophia Myles (Beth Turner), Jason Dohring (Josef Konstan), and Shannyn Sossamon (Coraline).
