Presidential Geek Survey Diary – Day 177
Mike Huckabee shot ducks in Iowa this morning. He may have named one of them “Mitt”.
“Hopefully we’ll just shoot pheasants and not each other,” Huck said. “We’ll name the pheasant for the other candidates. It gives us a real incentive.”
Huck went on to appeal to rural hunters with this statement: “The truth is hunters are the ones who preserve the species,” he said. “In many cases extinction comes from not having some level of hunting. It’s the hunters who actually keep the wildlife alive.”
Huck, when you’re done pandering to hunters, you wanna spend a minute on geeks? I’m sure there are geeks in Iowa who’d like to see your responses to the Geek Survey.
