Thanks so much for doing this. I always love analysis of eps because a different take lets me 'see' so much more, ya know?

Showrunners should totally hire fans to take care of plot holes.

I wasn't quite sure how Sam would fit into Stargate Atlantis but she has been doing great so far.

Staying up for Stargate isn’t the problem. It’s being able to get up the next morning on time that’s the risk…

Oy! Apparently I'm so tired my reading comprehension's severely impaired. XD Okay< I gat that -- working when you're tired because yoy had to get up early isn't any easier than staying up when you're tired. But were I in your shoes, yeah, I'd stay up too. Atlantis is my anti-drug ... or my drug-drug! XD I'd be pretty pissy if I got up early after having to miss my show ...

I kind of look at finding the plot holes as educatuonal — it makes me be more sensitive to it for the sake of my *own* writing. :) And I guess being a fiction writer also makes me a little hypersensitive to it, LOL!

That's understandable. And really there ARE times when even I start snickering at some of the stuff they try to pull on us. The "whales" that were really fish in Echoes was something I laughed over - because no way were those just fish! :O) It's just that in general I tend to ignore stuff like that.

Hope you manage to stay awake to watch it! I know that now matter how enthusastic I am, usually I can’t fight sleep ….

Hey, Jen! Sorry for the late reply!! ^^;

I kind of look at finding the plot holes as educatuonal -- it makes me be more sensitive to it for the sake of my *own* writing. :) And I guess being a fiction writer also makes me a little hypersensitive to it, LOL!

And no, I hadn't noticed that nurse! OOh, I really need to be more watchful of the backgrounds -- I missed the whole "Snickers wrapper in the shot" in "The Ark", too.

*Watches preview* .... Ooooh, Rodney whumppage! *G* I wonder what they're going to do with Todd -- didn't really expect to see him in this one. (I'm happy, though; this means they won't just leave the question of what happes to him hanging like I expected they would!)

I was really hoping they would have an image from the angsty McShep friendship moment Joe promised me, though. :( I'm dying to see how that pays out!

Hope you manage to stay awake to watch it! I know that now matter how enthusastic I am, usually I can't fight sleep ....

Thanks for reading & for the pingback, as always! ^^ *HUGS*

YAY! Part 2! :O)

Totally agree with everything you said here!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I LOVE the new "relationship" between Sam and Rodney, and also Sam and John. She's totally deferring to their expertise which is awesome to see!

(Wait, they can track ships as they move through hyperspace? So why couldn’t they tell where the Travelers were going? If they were tracking the ship before it went into hyperspace, why did it travel for any distance outside of it?)

That's one of those THINGS (aka - technology or other "facts" that don't really make logical sense when you think about it to much) you're supposed to ignore. *nods* *smirk*

This is the second time I know of that one hive ship’s exploding also took out an enemy hive — the first time it happened being in the episode “The Hive” — and I still don’t understand why it happened. Why would you get destroy your enemy while you’re close enough that their explosion would destroy you too?

So is this... honestly SG1 has done the same thing for years with stuff that if you really start thinking about it makes no logical sense at all. Maybe I'm TOO willing to ignore things like this but it really is something I've always done.

Linara watches sadly as her father’s body is carted away,

Did you notice the nurse in the background watching with a pout on her face? It makes me snicker every time even though it really shouldn't... (I think it's just because it's so random that one of the nurses is there doing that).

See you next week for the much-awaited (at least by me) “Miller’s Crossing”!

YAY!!!!!!! :O) Have you seen the video previews and the clip where Rodney, Ronon, and John show up at the Miller's? And the images from the episode?

I've got a bit of a problem though - I have to work at 7am Saturday morning so I have to decide if I'll be able to stay up that late to watch the episode AND still be able to wake up in time for work! *SIGH*
