Robin-

I suspect you're right about the Company collecting supers into its menagerie. Like any good capitalist organization, they're looking to maintain their competitive edge. I have to wonder at their success, however, as they've managed to make zero provisions for controlling people with multiple powers who are uncooperative. They held Sylar--barely--and not well. But with Peter, they didn't even try. And they let he and Adam communicate. Well done, Company.

As for Angela: I've read convincing arguments that she's got a similar power to Eden's, but hers is dependent on physical contact, not vocalization. It makes sense with the evidence we've seen--and certainly explains the pathological touching that goes on in the Petrelli family--and is very subtle such that no one would hardly notice it. Not even Peter, who should have absorbed the ability, may notice he's got it. Peter's pretty damned persuasive, too; he likes to think it's his infectious charm and self-righteousness, but he may have less influence that's on the up-and-up than he thinks. So, yeah, I completely buy that as Angela's ability. Now I want to rewatch the first season to check over every scene she's in to see where and when she touches people and how that changes what they do.

"Okay, so we’re supposed to accept that Peter was in a shipping crate for four months. Without food or water."

Actually, no. Peter getting dumped in the shipping container happened toward the end of the 'One Month Ago' segment. He was in there for... I don't know, a few days, maybe a week? Not too bad given his latent healing ability. The rest of that 'One Month' was everything that's happened since the season premiere.

I've found that a lot of my friends had trouble following the flashback format. Maybe I've just watched too much 'Highlander: The Series', but I thought it was pretty straightforward. It was all chronological and everything.

I had the same question about Adam vs. Claire, but it seemed like the Company was trying to round up as many X-Men, er, subjects as possible. Other than those two and Peter, they've also gathered up Sylar, Elle, Eden, Candice, Niki, Molly, West, Claude, and the Haitian. They seem to be interested in anyone with superpowers that could be of use to them.

And is it just me or does Angela Petrelli seem to have the power of persuasion? People are more inclined to do something if she's the one doing the asking... especially her elder son. I mean, Peter didn't start getting his memories back until she asked him to remember her.

Robin - thanks for clarifying...my memory of the episode centered around the title of Four Months Ago,and I had completely forgotten that there was a timeline countdown within the episode.

Duh.

Okay, so we're supposed to accept that Peter was in a shipping crate for four months. Without food or water. And somehow, came out of the crate buffer and beefier than ever rather than emaciated and sickly, or even dead?

M'kay.

Guess I'll just chalk that little oversight up to the continuity editor being killed back in season one.
