Presidential Geek Survey Diary – Day 127

As geeks quiver and wheeze at the thought of early endings to the shows which promote our continued social isolation, Barack Obama spoke out on the writers’ strike, taking a position that won’t win him any friends in entertainment industry. At least not among those with money and power.

As per his campaign website:

“I stand with the writers. The Guild’s demand is a test of whether media corporations are going to give writers a fair share of the wealth their work creates or continue concentrating profits in the hands of their executives. I urge the producers to work with the writers so that everyone can get back to work.”

B-Rock, you may have just gotten yourself the support of every working writer in America.

Many of whom are also geeks. Don’t you want to support geeks, B-Rock? Don’t you want to respond to the Geek Survey?
