Power Girl and Huntress Statue

Power Girl and Huntress StatueAnother statue for when I have unlimited shelf space – this time I’m eyeballing a DC Comics’ related statue featuring a couple of powerful gals who aren’t Wonder Woman.

Power Girl and Huntress Statue

There aren’t a whole lot of statues out there that depict comic book women in action out there that aren’t either Wonder Woman or laundry-related. Even though Power Girl’s pose could be a little less off balance and a whole lot more getting ready to kick some serious butt, Huntress’ stance suggests that someone is about to get a serious hook-gunning.

Hm. If you take Power Girl’s pose to be an expression of confidence (i.e., “I’m so tough I don’t even need to exert myself to kick your butt”), I don’t think it’s that bad.

Definitely one of the better female sculpts I’ve seen lately.

Will hits the nail on the head for me; super-speedy Kara is nearly arching an eyebrow in a ‘do I have to come over there and kick you into next week?’ vibe to me here.
