Chuck versus The Tango

In two episodes of Chuck we’ve already seen Agent Walker’s panties twice. For the third, we did a Panty Pool. John’s put in for two full bra shots and one panty shot. I put in for two bra shots – one partial, one full – and one panty shot.

The Panty Pool went nowhere this week – we got a girl fight and the requisite kicking crotch shot. However, we did get Captain Awesome walking around in his shorts. Too bad he’s of the hairless chest variety; he could be a good looking guy if he wasn’t working the Ken doll look.

“Chuck versus the Tango” was not Chuck on his best day. There were attempts at humor, such as Morgan’s irrational fear of old computers (which, as silly as it is, the guy did try to sell it), but Chuck couldn’t pull off the humor bits given to him. His little fanboy geek cries of “Help!” while in spy situations is already getting old and predictable.

Not that Chuck needs to toughen up; I’d just like to see him have a different reaction.

Like peeing himself. That’s a believable reaction.

Besides, we have Adam Baldwin around for tough guy stuff like throwing a microwave at a goon who’s threatening sweet Chuck with a big bad gun.

Did you see that goon’s head and neck? He looked like the bull from the Bugs Bunny bullfight episode. I wonder if that actor ever looks in the mirror and goes, “I’m huge! Awesome!”

This was a lousy episode up until the last ten minutes. To that point it was slow, predictable and not that funny.

And really?
Morgan’s afraid of old computers? If a guy’s gotta be afraid of something at an electronics superstore, it should be vacuum cleaners or dehumidifiers. Those things are scary.

Lisa Fary's earliest influences are Princess Leia, Rainbow Bright, Astronaut Barbie, and her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Palmer. She's angry that it's 2011 and she still doesn't have a hovercraft, but will accept a jetpack as consolation. That jetpack had better be pink with a rhinestone monogram.
