Presidential Geek Survey Diary – Day 90

In Wyoming this weekend, Duncan Hunter bragged about his Amazing Mexican Proof Fence and said he plans to extend the fence to the borders of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

And he says that, if elected president, he’ll build all 854 miles of it in six months.

That’s like 5 miles of fence a day. And since his Amazing Mexican Proof Fence is a double layer wall, we’re actually talking about over 1700 miles of construction.

By the federal government.

In six months.
