Presidential Geek Survey Diary – Day 71

Mitt Romney is having a bad week and it’s only Tuesday.� First, his headquarters were burglarized; the theieves made off with some laptop computers and a television.� Then an anti-Fred Thompson site associated with campaign staff popped up.� The Romney campaign insists that the site was the action of a rogue consultant and was not approved by Mitt.

And now, a new Gallup poll shows that, despite Mitt’s voluminous campaign funds, he’s dropped to third in the GOP race, behind Fred Thompson.

Tough times, Mitt.� Tough times.
