Presidential Geek Survey Diary – Day 49

If the Democratic presidential candidates are willing to answer questions like this on national television,

Is Barack Obama ready to be president, experienced enough to be president?

Do you believe in the power of prayer to affect events?

Can you name a major issue where you didn’t tell the whole truth and describe what you left out?

Then what is their
problem with answering questions like this on the internet?

Do you now collect or have you ever been a collector (stamps, coins, comics, etc.)?

What do you consider your geekiest trait?

What science-fiction type item do you wish existed here and now?

Do I have to be George Stephanopoulos to get you guys and gal to answer these questions? Do I have to be Anderson Cooper? Wolf Blitzer? Melissa Ethridge?

I’m starting to get the feeling that you’re not taking Pink Raygun or the Geek Survey seriously. Does that mean you don’t take Geeks seriously? What, we’re good enough to build your websites, but not good enough to talk to?

Lisa Fary's earliest influences are Princess Leia, Rainbow Bright, Astronaut Barbie, and her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Palmer. She's angry that it's 2011 and she still doesn't have a hovercraft, but will accept a jetpack as consolation. That jetpack had better be pink with a rhinestone monogram.
