Presidential Geek Survey Dairy – Day 14

ABC news asked of John Edwards, “Can a wealthy candidate live among the privileged and really care about poverty?” I don’t know, ABC. Can a person work in journalism and really care about the truth?

Edwards kicked off his
“Road to One America” tour today, which will hit 12 cities in 8 states in 3 days, in order to put a spotlight on the 37 million people who live in poverty in the United States. This move has brought comparisons to Bobby Kennedy’s 1968 tour of Kentucky.

“John Edwards isn’t Robert Kennedy
— which isn’t his fault,” Kennedy’s daughter said. Maybe it is his fault. If Edwards had tried harder and used The Secret, maybe he could have been Robert Kennedy.

Maybe if Geeks use The Secret, that will attract the candidates to the Geek Survey and someone will actually respond to it. Think positively and you will attract what you want! But don’t think too hard – you might pop a vein or give yourself a hemorrhoid.

Score
Absurd drivel that has no basis in reality: 1 Geeks: 0 (but, only if we continue our trend of negativity)

Lisa Fary's earliest influences are Princess Leia, Rainbow Bright, Astronaut Barbie, and her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Palmer. She's angry that it's 2011 and she still doesn't have a hovercraft, but will accept a jetpack as consolation. That jetpack had better be pink with a rhinestone monogram.
