Iowa must feel like that girl who shows up to school all developed after summer vacation. No one paid her any attention before, and now she has a flock of guys wooing her for one thing, and one thing only. You don’t hear about Iowa very much in between election years. But, because it has such an early primary, candidates woo the state, turning Independence Day barbecues and parades into campaign events.
All of the candidates chose to show their patriotism on July 4 instead of divulging their favorite superhero to Pink Raygun.
