Mega Morphing Power Bitch needs to be taken down. MMPB is nasty to begin with and now she’s threatening a kid? And the kid isn’t even one of those spoiled punk kids who’s constantly mouthing off! He’s a good kid! I’m not a fan of Jessica, but I really hope she shows up and tears MMPB in half. Even Sylar showing up and eating her brain would be OK with me at this point.
Curing this Molly Walker girl so she can stop Sylar has to be a ploy to get Mohinder Suresh working for Primatech. Suresh has proven more than once that anything he’s involved in is most likely a trap or a set up. Bennett has already mentioned that Primatech’s new tracking system is in New York; that’s what this little girl is. But, Bennett wants to take out the new tracking system. . . does that mean we’ll have a dead little girl on screen by the end of this?

I’m dying to know what Mama Petrelli’s ability is, other than being a manipulative shrew. In “.07%” she cryptically said, “I know. I knew before you ever did,” to Peter and Nathan when they were getting ready to come clean about their abilities. My guess is she’s some sort of pre-cognitive, like Isaac, but without the painting and the heroin addiction.

Whatever her ability is, Mama Petrelli’s motives for getting Claire out of the city are not of the wholesome, “I want to make life easier for my boy” variety. Claire can get close enough to stop anyone who goes nuclear – whether it’s Peter, Sylar, or the Atomic Caveman – and that threatens Linderman’s plans, so she’s gotta go.
The only thing that really bugged me about this episode was the meeting of Hiro and Sylar. If Hiro stopped time, how did Sylar break that? We haven’t seen all of Sylar’s victims, so we don’t know about everything that he can do, but that moment when he broke Hiro’s time freeze was kind of hinky.

The blogger consensus seems to be that Sylar didn’t break Hiro’s time-freeze — rather, Hiro lost his concentration, presumably because he wasn’t really prepared to kill Sylar.
While I am of like mind, that MMPB (great handle, btw) has simply got to go… I would sincerely rather see her die due to HRG or her own stupidity than be taken out by Sylar…. cause think about what he does with those he kills/eats…
Sylar with MMPB ability seems like a remarkably bad idea to me, then again, I saw the previous episode, did you? =)
Hiro losing his concentration didn’t even occur to me. . . bad nerdgirl!
Sylar with MMPB ability is a horrible prospect – I’m just really irrational toward her. She reminds me of this girl who sat behind me on the bus in 8th grade.
Way back in the first couple of eps of this season, Peter seemed to have dreams that showed the future (he flew out of a window before he actually flew). Either he got that ability from Simone’s dad, whom he was taking care of, or he got that power from mommy. Given the hints at mom’s power, I think he got the dreams from that evil mommy of his.
Ah, Mama Petrelli, or, as I like to call her, Mama Destiny. Makin’ a Marvel comics reference, there. I think she was part of the original group of secret heroes, including Linderman, and Hiro’s dad. Maybe some other people we haven’t seen yet. They were just training the next generation when they had their falling out. I think, that rather than seeing specific isolated moments like Isaac did, Mama Destiny sees the general trends and acts on intuitive reflexes.
