APE 2007 Exhibitor Rundown – “A Cannon Loose” through “City Cyclops”

Alternative Press Expo 2007 header image
For some unfathomable reason, the exhibitor list for this coming weekend’s Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco doesn’t include a single link back to the exhibitor’s home page. So, as a service to you (and so we know what and who to expect when Pink Raygun makes the trek to San Francisco), all this week Pink Raygun will be re-listing each of the 304 named exhibitors. Not everyone has a homepage that we could find. We’ll let you know that. We also couldn’t always determine the correct website for a particular exhibitor. We’ll let you know that, too.

If anyone has any information about missing or wrongly linked websites, please, let us know.

So, without any further jibber-jabber…

A Cannon Loose – From the website, it looks like all “A Cannon Loose” has to offer is a single comic strip entitled “How to Identify a Centaur.” There’s got to be more, I just can’t find it.

A.T. Comics – No website found.

Abide Visuals – “Aaron Winters is the graphic designer, illustrator, fine artist and musician behind Abide Visuals (AVMJ). Aaron also publishes an art annual himself each fall, Exit Strategy, which showcases the international talents of dozens of artists and musicians in print and vinyl mediums.”

Abismo / Nerve Bomb – Abismo might have something to do with the book Cloud Boy, or then again, it might not. Not a lot of info to go on. Nerve Bomb, the comic, is home to the character “Rocket Rabbit,” among others.

akpress.gifAK Press – “Our goal is to make available radical books and other materials, titles that are published by independent presses, not the corporate giants, titles with which you can make a positive change in the world. The sorts of books we stock are less and less available from the corporate publishers, booksellers & websites.”

Brianewing.com – “I’m one of those crazy weird hybrids you only hear about in hushed conversations – I’m an artist. A working one. I can’t believe it either. That’s where “employed” comes into play. So I guess that means I can pay my rent on time. I wish it meant that I could tolerate people who speak Klingon, but somehow God must have greater plans for me.”

Brick By Brick Design – came up with nothing.

Brown Bag Press – again, nothing.

Cannibal Cakes – “In October of 2006, an autistic child in Oklahoma watched the movie “Ernest Goes to Camp,” in it’s entirety, backwards. At that moment, miles away in Southern California, a rift had formed, a gate to the threshold of Hell. From this portal two fiends were birthed, Mortimer, and Calamity Von Blick, a merciless, flesh-hungry duo with only one goal, to bring hell to earth in t-shirt form.”
